Every build starts with a scene from a movie worth obsessing over
The process
How It's Made
No factories. No molds. Every diorama is a one-of-a-kind build, made by hand from start to finish.
Pick the Scene
Every piece starts with a moment worth freezing in time — a closet, a shack, a wrecked car on the side of the road at night.
Built By Hand
Card stock, foam board, wood, and ABS plastic — no molds, no mass production. Every wall and prop is scratch-built from scratch.
Detail Pass
Working lights, battery-powered switches, hand-painted figures. The kind of detail that only shows up when you look twice.
Shipped With Care
Every one-of-a-kind build is packed to survive the trip and arrive exactly as pictured — 100% positive feedback, every time.

Behind the Build
From movie screenshot to final shelf display — see how each diorama is conceptualized, built, and hand-weathered.

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about diorama materials, shipping care, scale matching, and the commission process.
We primarily build in 1:12 scale (fits standard 7-inch to 8-inch figures like NECA, Mezco, and McFarlane) and 1:25 scale (fits smaller model cars and 3-inch figures). However, since every build is custom, we can adapt to any specific scale, shelf dimensions, or Detolf case requirements you have.
Most dioramas do NOT include figures—they're displayed for scale and staging demonstration only. However, some select builds do include custom figures or characters specific to the scene. This will be clearly specified in the product details if figures are included. You can always populate the scene with your own favorite collectibles!
Nothing, within the US. The postage is already in the price, so the number on the listing is the number you pay — no weight surcharge, no oversize fee, nothing added at checkout. Very occasionally a build needs a crate far bigger than usual, or it is going somewhere genuinely remote, and the real cost lands well beyond what the price allows for. If that happens we contact you with the figure before anything is packed, and you can pay the difference or cancel for a full refund. Outside the US, shipping is quoted per piece before you commit.
Shipping high-end dioramas is an art form in itself. We construct our pieces with structural durability in mind (using high-density foam, wooden frames, and reinforced plastics). Every item is packed with thick layers of custom-cut bubble wrap, foam, and suspended inside heavy-duty double-walled boxes. We maintain a 100% positive feedback record on shipping transit safety.
Yes, many of our signature builds (like the Child's Play Barber Scene, Halloween Closet, and Johnny Cab) feature custom-wired LED lighting. We integrate hidden battery compartments and accessible switches (usually toggles built discreetly into the back or side) so there are no messy external cords. Standard batteries are included with every light-up order.
We use a premium blend of high-density XPS foam (for lightweight but solid walls), real distressed wood (for authentic cabins/shacks), styrene/ABS plastics (for crisp industrial structures), and complex acrylic weathering washes. This composite build ensures realistic surface textures and structural longevity.
First, send us an email inquiry with your movie choice, scene description, and dimensions. We'll reply with design proposals and a budget quote. Once we agree on the vision, we'll confirm the commission. Throughout the build process, we send you progress photographs so you can request adjustments before the final paint pass and shipping.
